Editorial Policy

Korea Beacon aims to give practical answers that readers can use.

We prioritize current official sources for rules, eligibility, prices, hours, services, and other information that may change.

We distinguish between official information, firsthand observations, reliable third-party material, and traveler questions or community discussions that help us identify recurring confusion. We keep the date, place, and scope of field observations clear and do not present a local observation as a general policy.

Traveler questions and community discussions help us find real problems to investigate; they are not used as proof of a factual claim.

We recheck volatile or high-consequence information before publication when current accuracy matters. If information is incomplete, conflicting, or cannot be properly scoped, we limit the claim, hold it, or leave it out.

We correct factual errors and update significant changes transparently. Editorial judgment determines how a piece is explained, but no evidence is invented or presented as verified when it is not.

AI-assisted tools may be used to support research, translation, drafting, organization, and visual production. They do not replace source verification or editorial judgment. Factual claims are checked against the applicable evidence, and publication decisions remain under human editorial control.

These principles are intended to keep Korea Beacon useful, clear, and honest about what is known and what may change.
